Sales Admin-Referrals and Transition Coordinator – Great Barr

Reporting to:           Senior Referrals and Transitions Coordinator  

Responsible to:      Head of Referrals and Transitions

Hours: 09.00 – 17.00 pm

Days:   Monday to Friday

Lunch Break: 30 minutes

Pay: Initially circa £18,525 rising to £19,500 per annum after a probation period.

Main Purpose of the job: An exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to support the Referrals and Transitions Department with driving the business forward and positively supporting the company ethos.

Primary DutiesUnder the direction of the Head of Referrals and Transitions and/or Senior Referrals and Transitions Coordinator, the Referrals and Transitions Coordinator will: –

  • Show initiative, be able to problem solving and communicate clearly
  • Liaise with different professionals and department leads
  • Book in appointments, holistic assessments, show arounds: running in conjunction with the availability of Department Leads and Hub Manager’s
  • Keeping all hard copy and electronic files up to date
  • Supporting the Head of Referrals and Transitions and Senior Referrals and Transitions Coordinator with enquiries, audits, events and meetings for transitions
  • Chasing and keeping on top of outstanding information and correspondence
  • Be willing to learn new processes
  • Assisting the Referrals and Transitions Department with the Sales Process

Learner Support Assistant Role Details

Working for the ‘Learning Mentor’ and ‘Senior Learner Support Assistant’ you will provide non-accredited day opportunities to young adults 16-25 and older adults 25+ who may have Physical Disabilities, Personal Care needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities, Autism and Moderate Learning Disabilities. In addition to these the job vacancies at Signal House and Signal 1 will include working with adults who may present behaviours that challenge.

As part of a team you will assist the team in providing Learning through fun activities such as ‘Sensory,’ Gardening, Cookery, Art & Craft and Community Visits in a ‘Learning Through Fun Non-Pressured Environment.’

You will work as part of a developing team of Learner Support Assistants within an exciting expansion programme. As part of your job role you will be required to provide support with Personal Care needs e.g. toileting support and may be required to Escort the students by taxi [this would be discussed further should an interview be given].

You must have experience of the above-mentioned client group and hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 [although NVQ training could be considered for the right candidate] in Health and Social Care and be prepared to give support and share experiences in growing this new day opportunity. It is also preferable that you have an interest and skill in one of the vocational areas mentioned above e.g. Art & Craft as you would be encouraged to use your skills which will assist individual Service User learning and enhance the Skills you have as part of your personal development.

Hours: 09.30 – 15.30 pm

Pay1: £8.70 per hour + additional pay/hours for Escorting as and when required for Bordesley Green, Elliot Lodge, Sayer House, Pheasey and Collingwood.

Pay 2: £9.50 per hour + additional pay/hours for Escorting as and when required for Signal House, Signal 1 and Eden Lodge.

Days:   Monday to Friday

Lunch Break: 30 minutes
